How much does it cost to hire the hall?

How do I make a booking?
Consult the online calendar to find a suitable date and time when the hall is not booked.
Open 'Book the Hall' and find 'Booking Pack'. There is a Word, PDF and an online version of the booking form.
How do I know if my booking has been accepted?
You will receive an invoice requesting a deposit. Once the deposit has been paid and acknowledged, your booking is firm. Check your booking is correct on the online calendar.
How do I pay?
Details of how to pay can be found on your invoice which will be emailed to you.
Can I view the hall?
Yes, contact the Caretaker to arrange a mutually convenient time.
How do I access the hall?
Contact the Caretaker a couple of days before your event for a code to access the door key.
Can I change my access time?
Contact the Booking Secretary and Caretaker if you need to alter your access time.
Can I keep the key?
No the key must never be removed from the premises. The key should be placed in the key safe after unlocking and locking the door. The key safe should never be left open (to avoid water damage in rainy weather)
What do I have to do at the end of the session?
Ensure that anything you have switched on yourself (heating, lights, water heater, dishwasher etc) is switched off and replace the key in the key safe for the next hirer.
How do I contact the Caretaker?
His contact details can be found online in the ‘Contacts’ section of the website.
When do I have to pay?
Your deposit should be paid on receipt of the invoice and the remainder must be paid one month before your event.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, everyone, except regular hirers is required to pay a non-refundable booking deposit.
Once it has been received the booking is secure.
Can I reclaim my Refundable Deposit?
You can reclaim a ‘Refundable Deposit’ if your invoice shows you have been charged one and only if you have left the hall in a clean condition without breakages. It is your responsibility to reclaim the deposit. A link to the relevant form can be found in ‘Book the Hall’. Please note, this is not the initial deposit paid to secure the booking.
Can I bring a bouncy castle?
You may bring a bouncy castle. Please ensure your supplier has public liability insurance.
